Terms of Service

The service

Katana AI Video Remaker lets you upload videos and images and generate new videos with AI. Generation runs on third-party video models such as MiniMax H3, Seedance 2.5, Kling O3 and Decart Lucy Restyle; see AI models we use. Katana AI Video Remaker is an independent product operated by an individual developer and is not made by or affiliated with the model providers.

By creating an account or buying credits you agree to these terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use the service.

Your content and consent

You keep ownership of the videos and images you upload and of the videos you generate. By uploading, you confirm that:

• you own the footage and images, or have every permission needed to edit them;
• reference images show illustrated, cartoon, anime or 3D characters, not photos of real people;
• every person who appears in your source video has given consent to be depicted and altered, or you have another legal right to use their likeness.

Before every generation we record that you confirmed this, with the time and your account, so we can respond to complaints.

Prohibited use

You may not use the service to:

• depict a real person without their consent, including public figures and celebrities;
• create sexual content, any content involving minors, or non-consensual intimate imagery;
• create graphic violence or gore, hate speech, or deepfakes of real people;
• impersonate, defraud, harass or mislead anyone, or create deceptive political content;
• infringe copyrights or trademarks, including characters or footage you have no rights to;
• resell or automate access to the service, or attempt to overload or reverse engineer it.

The full rules, how we moderate content and how to report abuse are in our Acceptable Use Policy.

We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these rules, and we report illegal content to the authorities.

Credits and payment

Credits are used to generate videos and have no cash value. They cannot be transferred or exchanged for money, except as described in our Refund Policy.

• Credit packs are one-time purchases. Pack credits never expire.
• The trial pack can be bought once per account. Its credits expire 14 days after purchase.
• Subscriptions (monthly or yearly) grant credits for each billing period — yearly plans grant all twelve months up front. Subscription credits expire at the end of that period and are always used before pack credits.
• Free sign-up credits may expire; the expiry date is shown in your credit history.

Prices are shown on our pricing page before checkout, and taxes are added at checkout where they apply. The credits for a job are reserved when it starts and returned automatically if the job fails.

Payments are processed by Waffo Pancake, which acts as the merchant of record for all purchases and handles payment and sales tax. Your bank statement may show Waffo as the seller.

Subscriptions and cancellation

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the price shown when you subscribed, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing. After you cancel, your plan and its credits stay active until the end of the current period, and you are not charged again. Refunds follow our Refund Policy.

AI output

AI output can be imperfect or unexpected. Review generated videos before you publish or use them, and label them as AI-generated where the law or the platform requires it.

Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided "as is", without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. If you keep using the service after an update, you accept the new terms.
